State of Tennessee, Standards of Practice for a Home Inspector

During an inspection, a home inspector visually inspects a home’s structural components.  Structural components include the foundation, floors, roof and walls.  Inspections also include items such as as windows, heating and cooling systems, plumbing and electrical systems. Once the inspection is complete, the inspector completes a detailed report explaining the areas of the house that require repair or could potentially become problematic in the future.  Please follow the link below to review the Standards of Practice for a Home Inspector set forth by the State of TN.

Roof Inspection

Had our client hired the first guy he called that said he would not get on the roof, this would have never been found. Don’t get me wrong, drones are useful tools in certain situations. A prime example would be a roof with a very steep pitch. But, they should never take the place of a physical roof inspection. This is one of the many reasons you should hire us!
